Lucia W. Swallow

Design and creation have been common threads through our Lucia's life as a painter, gardener, and mother. Her passion for art is inspired in part by painting on location to become intimate with the natural beauty surrounding her in Maine.

Over the past twenty years, Lucia has studied art extensively and continued her commitment to carving out time each day to practice and explore. These explorations have given rise to studies and series of colorful flowers, a wide variety of landscapes, and charming rural barns. Her work often includes elements of sunsets, shadows, clouds, and reflections that capture the dramatic colors, light, and weather unique to each season.
